I was so excited to have a Donut themed party this year for Harper’s 5th Birthday. We served fun kid friendly Brunch themed food along with Donuts of course. We had all the kids wear their pajamas and it was a huge hit.
Our decorations included super cute pink sprinkle tablecloths and Donut Plates and cut out decorations. We served Chocolate Milk and Juice, plus Mimosas for Adults 😉 Because let’s face it, with 25 kids running around you could use a Mimosa.

Donuts & Pajama Themed Birthday Party – All the party details.
Harper helped me pick out the theme and all of her party decorations this year. We talked about different themes and she decided to go with Donuts and Pajamas. I think she loved the idea of wearing pajamas and of course she loves going for Donuts on Saturdays, so it was perfect.
Almost all of the decorations were found at Hobby Lobby and a few from Target as well. You can also find some really similar Donut Party packages like this one on Amazon too. I wanted to stick with sprinkles and pastel colors so I ran around and picked up decorations at a few different stores.
We had Harper’s favorite breakfast foods like Waffles, yogurt parfaits, and Chick Fil A nuggets. I also made a Donut Hole tower and it turned out so cute! There was also an assortment of Donuts to choose from, of course.
Served alongside the Donuts was also mini chicken and waffles. I was inspired by this pin from Country Living. They called them Chicken and Waffle Sliders. We got our nuggets from Chick Fil A and I toasted a bunch of mini Eggo Waffles right before the party started. Everything was served on white platters and plates buffet style.
Of course we had to make mini pigs in a blanket too. Supoer easy to make by using Lil smokies then rolling them up in cut crescent rolls,. The build your own yogurt parfait station and had fun toppings like Trix and Fruity Pebbles along with traditional granola and berries.
I found some pretty tie dye balloons and had them above the food table. I hole punched a few pictures of Harper throughout the years and hung them from the balloons.
I also made a photo backdrop for the kids and adults to take pictures in front of by cutting out paper and linking it together. I used some of the paper Donut decorations I got in the Donut party package I found at Hobby Lobby.
There was also a Nerf Prize Game for the kids we made. It was made from an old box and the idea came from here by Frugalfun4boys. We also had a pinata which we had to set up in the Garage creatively since it was raining and cold outside that day.
We found Harper a Unicorn Onesie on Amazon similar to this one and it turned out to be perfect since it was a cold day. I took Harper around to look at different cakes and she ended up going with a Tinker Bell theme cake we picked up from Tom Thumb and it was amazing!
I really wish I had taken pictures before everyone got there but I always forget. I am definitely trying to do better, it just gets so crazy before a party.
Harper is already talking about her 6th Birthday Party – A Roller Skating Party at the skating rink up the street. I’m pretty sure it’s because her best friend had her most recent birthday party at a roller skating rink. We will see if she sticks with the idea.
